And last advantage I will say that Signal is Independent company, unlikely the WhatsApp is owned and managed by big company.

For the privacy conscious user the best application available in market right now, probably is the signal application.

The only thing that is stored by the Signal application is the user contact information, unlikely Whatsapp.

Additionally, not only the encrypted messages Signal application also encrypt the users meta data = i.e. who is messaging to whom. Through this "sealed sender messaging feature' the application hides the identity of Sender and recipient.

What are Signal Application features:

• And recently the signal app got new features where users face get blur automatically before sending images.

Why Musk asking people to switch to signal?
