Carl pei launches the startup today at 4:30 as per Indian Standard Time(IST). The new company is going to deal with the audio devices.
Carl pei has leave the oneplus company past year. To be very specific at month of October,2020. He was the former director of OnePlus for past 7 year. And leave his position with OnePlus in order to start other ventures in China.
After waiting for months, finally pei breakout the silence on his new startup as he declared the company officially today.
The company headquarters is situated in London, and announcements will get started from 11 am (UK Timing). In India this time will be around 4:30pm.
Investment made in Nothing
Carl pei had already declared his plans in December. At that time he had also declared that start-up has raised around $7millions. But after that we didn't see any details on investment from Pei.
Our Indian entrepreneur, The cred application founder Kunal shah, has backed his London based venture. And he made seed investment in pei new venture. However the investment fund amount is not revealed yet.
The funds started to get into pei venture, once it reached the investment of above mentioned investment i.e. 7 million dollars.
The funding is also backed by many popular, and successful entrepreneur which includes Tony Fadell (creator of ipod), Casy Neisat ( a youtuber), Kevin Lin (instituor of twitch), Steve Huffman ( executive at reddit), Liam Casey ( instituor and executive of PCH), Paddy Cosgrave (institutor of web summit) and Josh Buckley (executive at product hunt).
